| Rick
joined the staff of First Baptist in August of 2007as the Student
Minister. He and his wife Stacy have a daughter named Alaina. They
previously lived in Fort Worth, TX where he is currently finishing
his Master’s degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Rick has eight years of student ministry experience serving mostly
in Oklahoma and the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex.
Rick’s passion to
work with students began early in college with the purpose to
educate, teach, disciple, and evangelize young people who are living
in a time and place where biblical truth and Christian virtues have
been declared as irrelevant and forgotten by our society. His intent
is to establish relationships and make disciples in order to empower
students to share their faith openly without excuse, to love others
in a Christ-like manner, and to walk with God for a lifetime.
Rick enjoys watching
OU football, playing with his little girl, kickin back and watching
movies with his wife, making attempts to play golf, and traveling on
road trips….and of course long walks on the beach (how could I
forget) |
