Children's Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, 

for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Here at First Baptist Church, our Children's Ministry strives to lead children to love the Lord Jesus and to know Him on a personal basis.  We also believe that the home is the primary source for Biblical teaching and training and we strive to equip parents to bring up their children in the love and admonition of the Lord.

This summer, it is time for Vacation Bible School and for Wacky Wednesdays.  Wacky Wednesdays is for children who have completed Grades 1 - 6 and involves field trips, pool parties, and a day at Summer Fun Water Park in Belton, Texas.   Wacky Wednesdays begin on Wednesday, June 30 and will continue through August 4.  The cost for the entire summer is $45.00.  That cost includes admissions to all field trip locations, transportation, snacks, and a T-Shirt.  For those who cannot attend every session, the events are available on an individual basis.  Each child will need a parental permission form (available here for download or in the church office).  For more information, contact Bro.
